Tanabata Festival 2008

This year, we had our Tanabata celebration on 7 July 2008. Children came in their colorful summer kimonos and clogs, collected their name tags & materials and eagerly started producing their ornaments and writing of wishes. Mothers and staffs were busy assisting the children, hanging their “masterpieces” on the bamboo trees. After rounds of games and much laughter and fun, they headed for a good dinner treat, from the famous potluck spreads...yummy yummy yum yum...BURPS!. The traditional singing of Tanabata song sealed the simple but meaningful celebration and as always, we would like to wish all children in Saujana Villa “May all your wishes come true......”
